Alf E. Jakobsen
Alf E. Jakobsen (born 11 January 1952 in Lenvik) is a Norwegian Labour politician. Jakobsen served as the deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Finnmark during the terms 1989–1993, 2001–2005 and 2005–2009. During the first two terms he met as a regular representative for a period meanwhile Oddrunn Pettersen and Karl Eirik Schjøtt-Pedersen respectively were appointed to the Cabinet. In December 2006 Karl Eirik Schjøtt-Pedersen was appointed to work at the Prime Minister's office, and Jakobsen became a regular representative for the third time. Jakobsen held various positions in Hammerfest municipality council from 1975 to 1987, and then served as mayor from 1999 to 2007. After ending his term in parliament in 2009 Jakobsen once again became mayor in Hammerfest. Storting
The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. A member of Stortinget is known in Norwegian as a ''stortingsrepresentant'', literally "Storting representative". The assembly is led by a president and, since 2009, five vice presidents: the presidium. The members are allocated to twelve standing committees as well as four procedural committees. 2011 Norwegian Local Elections
Nationwide local elections for seats in municipality and county councils were held throughout Norway on 12 September 2011. Several municipalities also opened the polling booths on 11 September. For polling stations this meant that two elections, the municipal elections and the county elections ran concurrently. In addition, an advisory referendum was held in Aust-Agder to determine whether to merge the county with Vest-Agder. Overall, the Conservative Party made the greatest gains, and the Labour Party also advanced and remained the largest party. Karl Eirik Schjøtt-Pedersen
Karl Eirik Schjøtt-Pedersen (born 3 October 1959 in Vardø) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He is currently the Auditor General of Norway since 2022. He was a parliamentary representative for Finnmark from 1985 to 2009. He served as Minister of Fisheries from 1996 to 1997 and Minister of Finance from 2000 to 2001 in the first cabinet Stoltenberg. Pedersen was Chief of Staff at the Office of the Prime Minister and a member of the Cabinet from 2006 to 2013. From 2015 to 2020 he was the CEO at Norwegian Oil and Gas.
