Alexis Gougeard
Alexis Gougeard (born 5 March 1993 in Rouen) is a French cyclist, who currently rides for French amateur team VC Rouen 76. He specializes in time trials and track cycling. He became professional in 2014, as a member of the team. He was named in the start list for the 2015 Vuelta a España, where he took his first grand tour stage win on the nineteenth stage, making a winning attack from a breakaway group. The 71st edition of the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad was held on 27 February 2016. It was won by Belgian Greg Van Avermaet in a five-man sprint before Peter Sagan and Tiesj Benoot. The 2015 Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen was the 69th edition of the Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen ( en, Three Days of West Flanders) cycling stage race. Rated as a 2.1 event by the UCI as part of the UCI Europe Tour, the race took place from 6 to 8 March 2015. The defending champion was Gert Jõeäär (), who won the 2014 race, which used a very similar course, after victory in the opening time trial. He was succeeded in 2015 by Yves Lampaert (), who came fourth in the prologue, won the first road stage of the race from a breakaway and defended his race lead in the final stage. The 2015 Étoile de Bessèges (English: ''Star of Bessèges'') was the 45th running of the Étoile de Bessèges road cycling stage race. It was rated as a 2.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour and took place from 4 to 8 February 2015 in southern France, near the town of Bessèges. It was the first stage race of the 2015 European season. The race consisted of five stages, four of which were road stages and the last of which was an individual time trial.
