Alexandru Oleinic
Alexandru Oleinic (born 8 December 1959) is a Moldovan politician, who was elected as a deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova in two consecutive legislatures between 2001 and 2009, on the lists of the Electoral Bloc Democratic Moldova. Between 2009 and 2011 he was Minister of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Moldova in the First Vlad Filat Cabinet. On November 17, 2012, at the 2nd Congress of the People's Party of Moldova, he was elected as a co-chairing coordinator. He is the founder of the "Youth for Moldova" charity fund and the founder of the Institute of Political and Social Technologies, the president of the "National Fund for Investment Attraction and Protection" and the chairperson of the board of directors of the "Millennium Management Group". The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova is the supreme representative body of the Republic of Moldova, the only state legislative authority, being a unicameral structure composed of 101 elected MPs on lists, for a period of 4 years. Parliament is elected by universal vote, equal directly, secret and freely expressed. The President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova is elected by the Parliament, with a minimum of 52 votes. The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova, on a proposal of the Central Electoral Commission, decides to validate or invalidate the mandate of the Member of Parliament. Soroca (russian: link=no, Сороки, Soroki, uk, Сороки, Soroky, pl, Soroki, yi, סאָראָקע ''Soroke'') is a city and municipality in Moldova, situated on the Dniester River about north of Chișinău. It is the administrative center of the Soroca District. History The city has its origin in the medieval Genoese trade post of Olchionia, or Alchona. Edineț District
Edineț () is a district () in the north-west of Moldova, with the administrative center at Edineț. The other major city is Cupcini. As of 1 January 2011, its population was 82,900. Geography The district is bordered by Briceni District to the north, Ocnița District to the northeast, Dondușeni District to the east, Rîșcani District to the south, and Romania to the west across the Prut river. Most important rivers crossing the district are: Ciuhur (90 km), Racovăț (68 km) and Draghiște (67 km) the latter being the main Racovăț's tributary. All rivers of district flowing into the Prut.
