Alexandros Nikolaidis (basketball)
Alexandros Nikolaidis ( el, Αλέξανδρος Νικολαΐδης); born August 21, 2002) is a Greek professional basketball player for Maroussi of the Greek Basket League. He is a 1.90 m (6'2 ") tall combo guard. Professional career After playing in the Greek minor leagues with Mandoulides, Nikolaidis began his pro career in 2019, during the 2019–20 season, with the Greek 2nd Division club Olympiacos B Development Team, which is the reserve team of the Greek EuroLeague club Olympiacos Piraeus. Nikolaidis made his EuroLeague debut, with Olympiacos Piraeus, on 4 February 2020, in a EuroLeague 2019–20 season game versus the Lithuanian League club Žalgiris Kaunas. He replaced Georgios Printezis, as the youngest Greek born Olympiacos player to ever play in a EuroLeague game, and the second youngest Olympiacos player to ever play in a EuroLeague game overall, after Aleksej Pokuševski. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. Aleksej Pokuševski ( sr-cyr, Алексеј Покушевски; born 26 December 2001) is a Serbian professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Standing at and weighing , he plays both forward positions. Born in Belgrade, Pokuševski was previously a youth player for the Greek club, Olympiacos. He debuted for their senior team in 2018, at age 17 and becoming the youngest EuroLeague player in club history. Laurium or Lavrio ( ell, Λαύριο; grc, Λαύρειον (later ); before early 11th century BC: Θορικός ''Thorikos''; from Middle Ages until 1908: Εργαστήρια ''Ergastiria'') is a town in southeastern part of Attica, Greece. Vassilis "Billy" Spanoulis ( el, Βασίλης Σπανούλης; born 7 August 1982) is a Greek former professional basketball player and current basketball coach for Peristeri of the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League. Spanoulis spent the majority of his playing career in the Greek Basket League, winning four titles as a member of Panathinaikos and three titles as a member of Olympiacos. He also won three EuroLeague titles, one with the former club (2009) and two consecutive (2012 & 2013) with the latter.
