Michael Bartlett (born 7 October 1980) is an English playwright and screenwriter for film and TV series. His 2015 psychological thriller TV series, '' Doctor Foster,'' starring Suranne Jones, won the New Drama award from National Television Awards. The story concerns a mother with a sometimes-violent teenage son, struggling to control his behaviour in a desperate attempt to avoid seeing him being institutionalized.
