Alex Wright
Alexander Wright (born May 17, 1975) is a German former professional wrestler and professional wrestling promoter. He wrestled professionally in Germany and Japan before signing with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1994. He remained a prominent mid-card performer during his seven-year tenure with WCW, including reigns as a one time Cruiserweight Champion, a one time World Television Champion and a one time World Tag Team Champion (with Disco Inferno). He was the owner, founder and CEO of New Sport Entertainment GmbH which is the company that owns New European Championship Wrestling. Alex Wright (footballer, Born 1897)
Alexander Wright was a Scottish football player and manager who played as a half back for Aberdeen, Heart of Midlothian, Greenock Morton and Queen of the South. Playing career Wright began playing with Aberdeen when he was only 16. He remained at the Dons until 1922, captaining the side in his latter years at the club. He was regarded as one of the best half backs in Scotland and gained representative honours when he played for the Scottish League against the English League. He made 143 appearances and scored 11 goals for the club. During the First World War he served with the Gordon Highlanders and Royal Engineers. When serving in London he also appeared at Millwall. Alexander Mason Wright (18 October 1925 – 15 March 1999) was a Scottish professional footballer who played for Bowhill Rovers, Hibernian, Barnsley, Tottenham Hotspur, Bradford Park Avenue and Falkirk. Playing career Wright began his career with youth side Bowhill Rovers. He joined Hibernian where he featured in three official matches. Wright signed for Barnsley in August 1947. The forward scored 31 goals in 84 appearances between 1947 and 1950 for Oakwell based club. In September 1950, Wright signed for Tottenham Hotspur in a £12,000 transfer deal. Wright scored on his senior debut against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on 3 March 1951. Alexander Deighton Wright (11 December 1930 – 12 January 2000) was a Scottish football player and manager. Early life Alex Wright was born at his mother's family home in Elmfoot Street, Oatlands. His parents married in 1929 at St Francis RC Church in Hutchesontown, Glasgow, and he was an only child. By the time he started school his parents had moved to McLean Street, Kinning Park, and his father was exhibiting symptoms of multiple sclerosis. Wright was initially enrolled in the elementary class at the closest school to his home, Lorne Street School, but after five months transferred to Kinning Park's RC primary school, Our Lady and St Margaret's in Stanley Street. His father's health continued to deteriorate and circumstances dictated that Wright attend the nearest secondary school to his home; Lambhill Street School, Kinning Park, instead of accepting a place in senior secondary education at St Gerard’s in Govan. Alexander Wright (born July 19, 1967) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Raiders and St. Louis Rams. He was a two-time winner of the NFL's "Fastest Man" competition. He played college football at Auburn University. Early years Wright attended Albany High School, where he focused on track and field until his senior season, when he made the football team.
