Alexander Mullenbach
Alexander Mullenbach (born 1949) is a Luxembourg pianist, composer and conductor. Career Born in Luxembourg City on 23 January 1949, Mullenbach studied piano, chamber music and composition at the Conservatoire de Paris and at the Salzburg Mozarteum where his teachers included Gerhard Wimberger and Cesar Bresgen. From 1970, he taught piano at the Conservatoire de Luxembourg and, from 1981, composition. Since then, he has also taught at the Mozarteum. Since 1978, he has composed over 100 works, of which thirteen for symphony orchestra, as well as an Opera. Julius Berger (cellist)
Julius Berger (born 1954) is a German cellist, musicologist and an academic of chamber music and cello at the Leopold Mozart Centre of the Augsburg University. He recorded the sonatas and concertos by Luigi Boccherini, but also contemporary music by John Cage, Toshio Hosokawa, Adriana Hölszky and Sofia Gubaidulina. He is the artistic director of music festivals. Yair Kless
Yair Kless ( he, יאיר קלס; born November 12, 1940) is an Israeli violinist and professor. Background Kless began performing at an early age, attaining a world-wide reputation in his activities like soloist and chamber musician. His repertoire includes works from baroque period to compositions specially created for him. He studied with Israel Amidan and André Gertler at the Academy of Music in Tel-Aviv, and later at the Conservatory and the Musical Chapel Queen Elizabeth in Brussels. Kless belonged to the Baroque Musicians Israeli Group, and he was the first violin in the Sol-La-Re string quartet, the Tel Aviv piano quartet and the American New Art Trio. Lewis Kaplan
Lewis Kaplan (born November 10, 1933) is an American violinist, and pedagogue. He is a senior professor in violin and chamber music at the Juilliard School and has been on the faculty at Mannes School of Music since 1987, both located in New York City. Roberto Szidon
Roberto Szidon (21 September 194121 December 2011) was a Brazilian classical pianist who had an international performing and recording career, and settled in Germany. Life and career Szidon was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 1941. He gave his first concert at age 9 in his home town. He then studied composition with Karl Faust, and continued his pianistic studies in the United States with Ilona Kabos and Claudio Arrau. Szidon played with many renowned orchestras. In 1977, he completed a Southern Africa tour. He was the soloist at the premiere of Camargo Guarnieri's Piano Concerto No. 4, in Porto Alegre, on 6 September 1972. Ruggiero Ricci (24 July 1918 – 5 August 2012) was an American violinist known for performances and recordings of the works of Niccolò Paganini, Paganini. Biography He was born in San Bruno, California, the son of Italian immigrants who first named him Woodrow Wilson Rich. His brother was cello, cellist George Ricci (1923–2010), originally named George Washington Rich. His sister Emma played violin with the New York Metropolitan Opera. Kurt Widmer (28 December 1940 – 31 May 2023) was a Swiss baritone and voice teacher, who appeared and recorded internationally. He focused on concert singing, especially of oratorios from the Romantic period.
