Alexander Khokhlachev
Alexander Igorevich Khokhlachev (US pronunciation: ''KOH-klah-chawv''; russian: Александр Игоревич Хохлачёв; born September 9, 1993) is a Russian professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for Amur Khabarovsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He was selected by the Boston Bruins, 40th overall, in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Khokhlachev played in the 2006 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Moscow Selects youth team. He was selected 23rd overall in the 2010 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft by the Windsor Spitfires. After finishing the 2009–10 season with MHK Spartak in the MHL in Russia, Khokhlachev signed with the Spitfires for the 2010–11 OHL season. Amur Khabarovsk
Hockey Club Amur (russian: Хоккейный клуб Амур), commonly referred to as the Amur Khabarovsk, is a Russian professional ice hockey team based in Khabarovsk. They are members of the Chernyshev Division of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Located in the Russian Far East, the team takes its name from the Amur River, and plays its home games at the Platinum Arena. History Amur Khabarovsk was founded in 1966 as SKA Khabarovsk; it only adopted its current name in 1996, a name that comes from the nearby river Amur. The 2010–11 OHL season was the 31st season of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The 2022–23 KHL season was the 15th season of the Kontinental Hockey League. There were 22 teams that competed in the record-breaking 68 regular season games, beginning on 1 September 2022 and ending on 26 February 2023. Sergei Sergeyevich Shirokov (russian: Серге́й Серге́евич Широков, ; born 10 March 1986) is a Russian professional ice hockey winger currently with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Prior to signing with Vancouver in 2009, Shirokov played with CSKA Moscow for four seasons in the Russian Superleague and Kontinental Hockey League. He returned to CSKA Moscow in 2011 after two years with the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose. Yaroslav Dyblenko (born December 28, 1993) is a Russian professional ice hockey defenceman. He currently playing under contract with HC CSKA Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Playing career Dyblenko made his Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) debut playing with Atlant Moscow Oblast during the 2012–13 KHL season before joining Spartak Moscow for the 2015–16 KHL season. Gagarin Cup
The Gagarin Cup (russian: Кубок Гагарина, Kubok Gagarina) is the trophy presented to the winner of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) playoffs, and is named after Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, the first human in space. The Cup was supposedly named after Gagarin because the last possible game of the inaugural KHL season would take place on April 12, the anniversary date of Gagarin's flight. After the end of the KHL's regular season, sixteen teams participate in the playoffs. The Columbus Blue Jackets (often simply referred to as the Jackets) are a professional ice hockey team based in Columbus, Ohio.
