Alexander Kerfoot
Alexander Douglas Kerfoot (born August 11, 1994) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the fifth round, 150th overall, by the New Jersey Devils in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and has previously played in the NHL for the Colorado Avalanche. Playing career Amateur Kerfoot was drafted as a youth in the 12th round, 254th overall, by the Western Hockey League (WHL)'s Seattle Thunderbirds in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft. A Vancouver native, Kerfoot opted to play as a midget with the Vancouver NorthWest Giants in the BC Hockey Major Midget League (BCMML). In his second season with the Giants in 2011, Kerfoot led the team alongside Sam Reinhart to the championship. The Toronto Maple Leafs (officially the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club and often referred to as the Leafs) are a professional ice hockey team based in Toronto. The Bentley Falcons men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. The 2012-13 BCHL season was the 51st season of the British Columbia Hockey League. (BCHL) The sixteen teams from the Coastal and Mainland Conferences will play 56 game schedules, starting with the 2012 BCHL Showcase in Chilliwack, BC. The Harvard Crimson men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Harvard University. World Junior A Challenge
The World Junior A Challenge (WJAC) is an annual under-20 international ice hockey tournament sponsored by Hockey Canada, the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL), and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). The tournament showcases Junior A level players and is modeled after the IIHF World U20 Championships, which displays the best of all junior-aged hockey players. It has been hosted by Canadian cities every year in CJAHL markets.
