Alex Ross
Nelson Alexander Ross (born January 22, 1970) is an American comic book writer and artist known primarily for his painted interiors, covers, and design work. He first became known with the 1994 miniseries ''Marvels'', on which he collaborated with writer Kurt Busiek for Marvel Comics. He has since done a variety of projects for both Marvel and DC Comics, such as the 1996 miniseries '' Kingdom Come'', which Ross co-wrote. Since then he has done covers and character designs for Busiek's series ''Astro City'', and various projects for Dynamite Entertainment. His feature film work includes concept and narrative art for '' Spider-Man'' and ''Spider-Man 2'', and DVD packaging art for the M. Night Shyamalan film ''Unbreakable''. He has done covers for ''TV Guide'', promotional artwork for the Academy Awards, posters and packaging design for video games, and his renditions of superheroes have been merchandised as action figures. Alex Ross (American Football)
Alex Ross (born September 25, 1992) is a former American professional gridiron football quarterback. He previously played for the BC Lions, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and San Diego Fleet. He played college football at Coastal Carolina. College career Ross played college football for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers from 2011 to 2015. Professional career In April 2016, Ross agreed to attend the training camp of the Atlanta Falcons. He signed with the BC Lions in January 2017. In April 2018, Ross was released by the Lions and then signed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was let go in September. In October 2018, Ross signed with the Memphis Express. However, he was selected by the San Diego Fleet with the last pick of the 2019 AAF QB Draft. Alex Ross (cricketer)
Alexander Ian Ross (born 17 April 1992) is an Australian cricketer. The son of a cricket coach, Ross started playing domestic cricket for South Australia in 2012, having moved to the state in 2009 with his father. He began to rise to prominence in the 2014–15 season when, after improved form in both first-class and List A cricket, he began playing for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League. In his first match of BBL05 he scored 65 runs off 31 balls, making excellent use of the sweep shot and earning the moniker "sweepologist". He currently represents South Australia in first-class and one-day cricket and plays for the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League. A staff member of ''The New Yorker'' magazine since 1996, his extensive writings include performance and record reviews, industry updates, cultural commentary and historical narratives in the realm of classical music. Alexander Ross (15 January 1880 – 17 July 1953) was a stonemason, trade unionist and politician in Alberta, Canada. He served as an MLA in the Alberta Legislature from 1917 to 1926 and as a cabinet minister in the United Farmers of Alberta government from 1921 to 1926. Early life He was born in Premnoy, Scotland. Start of his political career Ross was elected in the 1917 Alberta election defeating Conservative Thomas Tweedie. He was elected as the first and only member of the Labor Representation League to sit in the assembly. The Labor Representation League later merged with the Dominion Labor Party (Alberta). In the 1921 Alberta election after Calgary Centre was abolished he ran in the reconstituted Calgary riding and won the top spot in a 5-member block vote. Alec Ross (4 November 1905 – 30 August 1996) was an Australian state and national representative rugby union player who captained the Wallabies in thirteen Test matches in 1933-34. Career Ross was schooled at Sydney Grammar and studied medicine at Sydney University while attending St Andrew's College. He made his first representative appearance in 1925 at the time when the Queensland Rugby Union administration was dormant rendering the New South Wales Waratahs the top Australian representative rugby union side of the period 1919 to 1929.
