Alex Boylan
Alex Boylan is known as a reality TV contestant, TV show host and producer. He first came to public attention as part of the winning team together with his friend Chris Luca in the second season of the reality TV show ''The Amazing Race'' in 2002. He was later involved in various TV projects such as ''Around the World For Free'' and ''Animal Attractions Television''. Early life Alex Boylan grew up in Boston. When he was sixteen, he spent a year playing semi-pro soccer for the club "Campinesse" in Campina Grande, Brazil. ''The Amazing Race 2'' is the second season of the American reality television show ''The Amazing Race''. It featured eleven teams of two in a race around the world. The season premiered on CBS on March 11, 2002, and ended on May 15, 2002. ''Around The World For Free'' a.k.a. ''ATWFF'' was an online/broadcast hybrid reality series based on the concept of whether a person can circle the globe without any money. The show followed a reality star, as he or she attempted to travel around the world without any money on hand. The star travelled with one cameraman Zsolt Luka and relied on local guides and inhabitants for basic needs. The concept was created by Alex Boylan, Emmy-nominated editor and director Zsolt Luka, and Burton Roberts, who was also the producer of Camp Reality and was a cast member on '' Survivor: Pearl Islands''. Zsolt Luka (born June 10, 1969 in Cluj, Romania) is a television director, editor, videographer and producer. He is best known for his role in the reality show ''Around the World For Free''. Career His TV career began in the mid-1990s working as an editor on Canadian children's shows like ''Popular Mechanics for Kids'' and ''Mystery Hunters''. He started directing in 2002 on ''Mystery Hunters'' and continued with children's shows such as '' Prank Patrol'', usually editing his own work.
