Alessia Nobilio
Alessia Nobilio (born 7 September 2001) is an Italian amateur golfer. She won silver at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics. Amateur career Nobilio had a successful amateur career across Europe. She won the 2016 and 2017 International Juniors of Belgium, the Italian U18 Team Championship in 2015, 2017 and 2019, the Italian Ladies Stroke Play Championship in 2019 and 2020, and the 2020 Portuguese Ladies Amateur. Also, she was runner-up at the Italian Ladies Amateur twice (2016 and 2019), at the 2016 Austrian Ladies Amateur, and lost the final of the Spanish Ladies Amateur twice, in 2017 to Frida Kinhult of Sweden and in 2019 to Candice Mahe of France. In 2018 she was runner-up at the German Girls Open, one stroke behind Ingrid Lindblad, and in 2019 runner-up at the Internazionali d'Italia Femminili U18. Rozzano
Rozzano ( lmo, Rozzan ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about south of Milan. European Girls' Team Championship
The European Girls' Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for women up to 18 organised by the European Golf Association. The inaugural event was held in 1991. It was played in odd-numbered years from 1991 to 1999 and has been played annually since 1999. Since the European Lady Junior's Team Championship for women under 22, was discontinued in 2006, due to the trend of players reaching elite level at an earlier age, the European Girls' Team Championship has been regarded as the most important junior team event in Europe outside the British Isles. The French International Ladies Amateur Championship, known since 1998 also as the Cécile de Rothschild Trophy, is an annual amateur golf tournament in France for women. This stroke play championship, contested over 54 holes, was first held in 1962, making it the oldest such international ladies amateur championship in Europe. The British equivalent, the British Ladies Amateur Stroke Play Championship, was created several years later. Initially it attracted little international interest and the title was contested mainly between French players. Brigitte Varangot, Catherine Lacoste and Odile Garaïalde dominated the event in the early years. 2021 LET Access Series
The 2021 LET Access Series was a series of professional women's golf tournaments held from June through October 2021 across Europe. The LET Access Series is the second-tier women's professional golf tour in Europe and is the official developmental tour of the Ladies European Tour. World Amateur Golf Ranking
The World Amateur Golf Ranking for men was introduced by The R&A, the governing body of the sport of golf outside the United States and Mexico, on 23 January 2007. It is based on the results of over 2,600 amateur tournaments per year (and amateurs participating in certain professional events) and is updated each Wednesday. Rankings are based on the players' average performances in counting events over a rolling period. This period was 52 weeks initially but was gradually expanded during 2016 to 104 weeks, similar to those of the Official World Golf Ranking. Like the Official World Golf Ranking for male professional golfers, the amateur ranking was initiated by The R&A to provide a more reliable means of selecting an appropriate field for one of its tournaments. Vagliano Trophy
The Vagliano Trophy is a biennial women's amateur golf tournament. It is co-organised by The R&A and the European Golf Association and is contested by teams representing "Great Britain and Ireland" and the "Continent of Europe". It is played in odd-numbered years; the Curtis Cup being played in even-numbered years. The event started in 1931 as a match between Great Britain and France. It was played annually from 1931 to 1939 and from 1947 to 1949, before becoming a biennial event from 1949 to 1957. Britain won 15 of the 16 matches with the 1934 match being tied. From 1949 to 1957 Great Britain had also played a biennial match against Belgium. The Junior Vagliano Trophy is an annual girls amateur golf tournament. It is co-organised by The R&A and the European Golf Association and is contested by teams representing "Great Britain and Ireland" and the "Continent of Europe". The first event was in 2011. Originally it was played in odd-numbered years at the same time and location as the Vagliano Trophy but in 2021 it became an annual event. Girls must be under-16 on 1 January of the year of the event. The Continent of Europe has won all seven matches to date.
