Aleshia Ocasio
Aleshia Ocasio (born August 15, 1996) is a professional American softball player. She played college softball at Florida. Ocasio most recently played in the Athletes Unlimited Softball, where she won the 2021 championship as the top individual points leader. She has been a member of the Puerto Rico women's national softball team since 2015. Playing career College career On April 16, 2014, Ocasio signed her national letter of intent to play college softball at Florida. During her freshman season in 2015 she posted an 18–3 record, with 155 strikeouts, two saves, ten complete games, four shutouts, and a 2.01 ERA in 136 innings. On March 2, 2015, Ocasio was named SEC Freshman of the Week after she posted a 2–0 record with a save during the week. The 2023 Pan American Games ( es, Juegos Panamericanos de 2023, links=no), officially the XIX Pan American Games and commonly known as Santiago 2023, is a forthcoming international multi-sport event governed by the Panam Sports Organization, scheduled to be held in Santiago, Chile from 20 October to 5 November 2023. The 2015 NCAA Division I softball tournament was held from May 14 through June 3, 2015 as the final part of the 2015 NCAA Division I softball season. The 64 NCAA Division I college softball teams were selected out of an eligible 293 teams on May 10, 2015. Thirty-two teams were awarded an automatic bid as champions of their conference, and thirty-two teams were selected at-large by the NCAA Division I softball selection committee. The tournament culminated with eight teams playing in the 2015 Women's College World Series at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. 2015 Florida Gators Softball Team
The 2015 Florida Gators softball team represented the University of Florida softball program during the 2015 NCAA Division I softball season. The Gators defeated 2015 Michigan Wolverines softball team, Michigan in three games in the final of the 2015 Women's College World Series, clinching back-to-back titles for the program. Puerto Rico women's national softball team is the national team for Puerto Rico. The team competed at the 1986 ISF Women's World Championship in Auckland, New Zealand, where they finished fifth. The team competed at the 1990 ISF Women's World Championship in Normal, Illinois, where they finished with 5 wins and 4 losses. The team competed at the 1994 ISF Women's World Championship in St. John's, Newfoundland, where they finished ninth. College softball is softball as played on the intercollegiate level at institutions of higher education, predominantly in the United States. The 24th Central American and Caribbean Games are scheduled to take place in 2023. They were planned to take place in Panama City, Panama, until the government announced on 24 July 2020 that it had decided to withdraw as the hosts as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in Panama. Centro Caribe Sports had search for alternatives.
