''Alesha's Street Dance Stars'' is a competition aired on the CBBC Channel and presented by Alesha Dixon. The judges are Turbo, Kenrick Sandy and Lizzie Gough Elizabeth Anne Gough (born 30 September 1984) is a British dancer, television judge, and dance presenter who came in third during the first series of ''So You Think You Can Dance''. In 2010, she made her first appearance as a judge for the BBC / .... Dance crews of young street dancers compete in a series of auditions, rounds and finals with one crew winning both the title of Alesha's Street Dance Stars and a money-cannot-buy-prize. The first series aired from 22 August 2011 to 2 September 2011. The second series began airing on 20 August 2012. Alesha Dixon
Alesha Anjanette Dixon (born 7 October 1978) is an English singer, rapper, dancer, television personality, and author. She gained recognition in the early 2000s as a member of the R&B, garage and hip hop group Mis-Teeq. The group disbanded in 2005 and Dixon then pursued a music career as a solo artist, signing a recording contract with Polydor Records. She recorded her debut solo studio album, '' Fired Up'' in 2006, releasing her debut single "Lipstick", followed by " Knockdown", after which her popularity as a singer declined and she was subsequently dropped from Polydor. In 2007, Dixon won the fifth series of the BBC One dancing competition show ''Strictly Come Dancing''. Her television exposure led to a successful musical comeback, which included her signing to Asylum Records.
