Aleksei Medvedev (footballer)
Aleksei Sergeyevich Medvedev (russian: Алексей Серге́евич Медведев; born 5 January 1977) is a Russian professional football coach and a former player. Career Medvedev, an alumnus of CSKA Moscow youth school, started his professional career in 1995 playing for Orekhovo in the Russian Second Division. In 1998, he became the league top scorer with 24 goals. Following this achievement, Medvedev signed for the Russian Premier League club FC Saturn Ramenskoye in 1999. In 2000, he moved to Dynamo Moscow for a reported fee of €200,000. He played in the UEFA Cup 2000–01 and UEFA Cup 2001–02 for FC Dynamo Moscow (5 games). In 2002, Saturn brought his back to Ramenskoye for a reported sum of €325,000. In 2005, he was loaned to Tom Tomsk, and in 2006 he signed for Krylia Sovetov Samara. Pavlovsky Posad (russian: Па́вловский Поса́д) is a town and the administrative center of Pavlovo-Posadsky District in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located from Moscow, at the confluence of the Klyazma and Vokhna Rivers. Population: History The town of Pavlovsky Posad was founded in 1844 by merging several villages (Pavlovo, Dubrovo, Zakharovo, and Melenki). Hat-trick
A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the ''Chelmsford Chronicle''. Russian First Division
The Russian First League (russian: Первая лига, Pervaya liga), formerly called Russian First Division (russian: Первый дивизион) and Russian Football National League (FNL) (russian: Первенство Футбольной Национальной Лиги, Pervenstvo Futbol'noy Natsional'noy Ligi) is the second level of the Russian football league system. FC Saturn Ramenskoye (russian: Фк Сатурн Ра́менское) is a Russian football club, based in the town of Ramenskoye in Moscow Oblast. It is also sometimes referred to as FC Saturn Moscow Region (russian: Фк Сатурн Московской области, FK Saturn Moskovskaya Oblast). History The club was founded in 1946. Znamya Truda is a Russian football club from Orekhovo-Zuevo, Moscow Oblast. The club is most noted because they are the oldest now-playing club in Russia, founded in 1909. They currently play in the FNL 2. The club's finest hour came in 1962 when they reached the final of the USSR Cup. History The club was founded in the village of Orekhovo which was to join with Zuevo and Nikolskoye to form Orekhovo-Zuyevo in 1917.
