Aleksandra Cvetićanin (born ) is a Serbian volleyball player. She is part of the Serbia women's national volleyball team. She participated in the 2015 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. Zrenjanin ( sr-Cyrl, Зрењанин, ; hu, Nagybecskerek; ro, Becicherecu Mare; sk, Zreňanin; german: Großbetschkerek) is a List of cities in Serbia, city and the administrative center of the Central Banat District in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. The city urban area has a population of 76,511 inhabitants, while the city administrative area has 123,362 inhabitants (2011 census data). The old name for Zrenjanin is Veliki Bečkerek or ''Nagybecskerek'' as it was known under Austria-Hungary up until 1918. Serbia Women's National Volleyball Team
The Serbia women's national volleyball team is governed by the Volleyball Federation of Serbia and takes part in international volleyball competitions. FIVB considers Serbia the inheritor of the records of SFR Yugoslavia (1948–1992) and Serbia and Montenegro (1992–2006). The Olympic Committee of Serbia declared the women's national volleyball team the best female side of the year from 2006 to 2011. Serbia earned a silver medal at the 2016 summer Olympics, a bronze medal at the 2020 summer Olympics, won back to back the FIVB World Championship in 2018 and 2022. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The 2015 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 23rd edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 28 countries from 26 June to 2 August 2015.
