Aleksandar Todorov
Aleksandar Todorov ( mk, Александар Тодоров; born July 17, 1973) is a Macedonian basketball coach. He was the head coach of MZT Skopje, when they won the title for the first time in their history. In addition to his Macedonian citizenship, Todorov also holds Bulgarian citizenship. MZT Skopje Aerodrom ( mk, МЗТ Скопје Аеродром) is a basketball club based in Skopje, North Macedonia. The club competes in the Macedonian League and ABA League. The club's home ground is Jane Sandanski Arena, but due to small capacity, the matches in the ABA League and EuroCup between 2012 and 2014 were played in Boris Trajkovski Arena. Since the 2014–15 season, all matches are held in the renovated Jane Sandanski Arena. In its history, MZT Skopje has won the Macedonian championship eight times, the Macedonian Cup ten times, and the Macedonian Super Cup four times. The club was a founding member of the Adriatic Basketball Association in 2015. In November 2020, the club's shares were transferred to the Slovenian club KK Koper Primorska. Balkan International Basketball League
The Balkan International Basketball League (BIBL), also known as the Balkan League, is a multinational professional basketball league that features mostly clubs from the Balkans. The league included teams from countries as Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania and Israel. The most recent league champion is Hapoel Galil Elyon from Israel. Purpose The purpose of the Balkan International Basketball League is to provide competitive international play for clubs in the Balkans that would otherwise be unable to participate in international basketball. The league achieves this by providing financial support to all participating clubs in order to ease the costs that make international play difficult. The Macedonian First League ( mk, Македонска прва лига, ''Makedonska prva liga'') is the top-tier basketball competition in the Republic of North Macedonia organized by the Basketball Federation of North Macedonia. Macedonian Republic League was transformed in to top division level Macedonian Basketball First League. The North Macedonia men's national basketball team ( mk, Кошаркарска репрезентација на Северна Македонија, Košarkarska reprezentacija na Severna Makedonija) represents North Macedonia in international basketball and is controlled by the Basketball Federation of North Macedonia. SCM Universitatea Craiova is a Romanian professional basketball club based in Craiova. The club competes in Liga Națională, the top tier of Romanian basketball.
