Aleksandar "Aco" Petrović (; born 16 February 1959) is a Croatian professional basketball coach and former player who is currently the head coach of the Croatia men's national team. Playing career A point guard or shooting guard, Petrović had achieved prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. The pro clubs he played for included: Šibenka, Cibona, Scavolini Pesaro, Novi Zagreb and Racing Luxembourg. He was among the 105 player nominees for the 50 Greatest EuroLeague Contributors list. Coaching career Petrović started his club head coaching career with Cibona in 1991. Between 1995 and 1997, he coached the Spanish ACB League team Caja San Fernando, before returning to Cibona for the 1997–98 season. In the 2001–02 season, he went to Poland to coach Anwil Włocławek. Aleksandar "Aco" Petrović ( sr-cyr, Александар Петровић; 14 October 1959 – 1 December 2014) was a Serbian basketball coach. Career Petrović started his coaching career in Radnički Belgrade, where he spent four years. After that, he was assistant coach of the Crvena zvezda and won the 1997–98 Yugoslavia championship. He also led the FMP Železnik and Hemofarm Vršac from domestic clubs. The first foreign engagement was in Russia in the team Lokomotiv Rostov, and with them he came to the final of 2005 FIBA Europe Conference North. Also, Petrović has led more than foreign clubs UNICS, Žalgiris and Azovmash. Aleksandar Petrović ( sr-Cyrl, Александар Петровић; 8 September 1914 – 31 July 1987) was a Serbian football player and manager. Club career He was part of the famous SK Jugoslavia attack that become famous in the years before the Second World War league interruption. He is also remembered as an excellent striker, being the sixth all-time pre-1941 Yugoslav First League top-scorer, with a total of 51 goals. Having been born in Rača, a suburb of Kragujevac, he still young came to Belgrade, where he played for several clubs. He started playing for Palilulac, between 1930 and 1932, and later in Čukarički, until 1936, when he moved to one of the major clubs in the country, SK Jugoslavija. Aleksandar Petrović ( sr-Cyrl, Александар Петровић; born February 8, 1985) is a Serbian former Association football, footballer. Career Born in Belgrade, Petrović began his career in his native country, Serbia when he played for FK BASK. He played three seasons with BASK. During the 2006/07 season, he moved to FK Mladost Lučani and later on played two seasons with Mladost Lučani. He later on moved to FK Rad in the Serbian SuperLiga. During the 2010/11 season, he moved to FK Sloboda Point Sevojno. For the 2011 season, he played with Serbian club, FK Novi Pazar in the Serbian SuperLiga. Early in 2012 Petrović joined FK Radnički Niš in Serbian First League. After a year at Radnički Niš, he moved to the champions of the 2011 AFC Cup, FC Nasaf. Saša Petrović (, born 31 December 1966) is a Montenegrin football manager and former goalkeeper. Playing career Club After playing for OFK Titograd, he moved to FK Budućnost Podgorica where he would spend almost a decade, being the only exception a loan season at FK Sutjeska Nikšić. Next he played two seasons with OFK Beograd. In 1996, he would sign with another South Korean club, Jeonnam Dragons of K League. Aleksandar Petrović (14 January 1929 – 20 August 1994) was a Yugoslav and Serbian film director who was one of the leading European directors in the 1960s and one of the major figures of the Yugoslav Black Wave. Two of his films were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film: ''Three'' in 1966 and ''I Even Met Happy Gypsies'' (''Feather Gatherers'') in 1967. The latter (original title "Skupljaci perja") was the first movie that presented the existence of Gypsies in society and everyday life; it was also the first full-feature film where Gypsies spoke their own language, Roma. Orthodox Celts is a Serbian band formed in Belgrade in 1992 which plays Irish folk music combined with rock elements. Despite their uncharacteristic genre in their home country, the band is one of the top acts of the Serbian rock scene and has influenced several younger Serbian bands, most notably Irish Stew of Sindidun and Tir na n'Og. The band started their career performing traditional Irish songs and, gradually, introduced more and more of their own material (lyrics mostly written by the band's frontman Aleksandar "Aca Celtic" Petrović, music mostly written by band's violinist Ana Đokić). All their lyrics are in English, but the group has composed some purely instrumental songs as well. The band traditionally celebrates St. Patrick's Day with a large concert in Belgrade.
