Aleksandar Ignjatović
Aleksandar Ignjatović (Serbian Cyrillic alphabet, Serbian Cyrillic: Александар Игњатовић; born 11 April 1988 in Niš) is a Serbian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, defender for RoundGlass Punjab FC, RoundGlass Punjab in the I-League. Club career Ignjatović started his career in the youth squads of Radnicki Nis, a club playing in the Serbian First League. In the season 2006–07 Serbian First League, 2006–07, he made his first appearance in the club's first team and quickly became a regular starter in the Radnički line-up. After two successful seasons Ignjatović earned a transfer to FK Borac Čačak. In the summer of 2008, Ignjatović joined Borac Čačak, making his debut on the highest level in Serbia, the Serbian SuperLiga. Serbian First League
The Serbian First League ( sr, Прва лига Србије / Prva liga Srbije), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League ( sr, Моцарт Бет Прва лига / Mozzart Bet Prva liga) for sponsorship reasons, is the name for the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Football Association of Serbia completed a restructure of the league system, and in season 2020/2021 that meant 18 clubs would be competing in the Serbian First League, the number of clubs will go back to the usual 16 following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season. The 2011–12 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the sixth season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment. The defending champions are Partizan, after having won their fourth Serbian Superliga title in a row at the conclusion of the previous season. Partizan successfully defended their title after a 4–0 victory at Borac Čačak with three games left to play. It was their fifth consecutive Serbian title and their 24th domestic championship. Teams Inđija and Čukarički were relegated to the 2011–12 Serbian First League after the 2010–11 season for finishing in 15th and 16th place, respectively. Serbian Cup
The Serbian Cup ( Serbian: Куп Србије, Kup Srbije) is the national football cup of Serbia. The winner of the competition gets a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifying round. From 2006 to 2010, the competition was known as the Lav Cup for sponsorship reasons. History Serbia's cup tournament is the legal successor to the Serbia and Montenegro Cup and in turn of the Yugoslav Cup. This cup tournament lasted for four seasons up until the dissolution of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro in 2006. The 2009–10 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the fourth season of the SuperLiga since its establishment in 2006. It began on 15 August 2009 and ended on 16 May 2010. A total of sixteen teams contest the league, with Partizan the defending champions. The 2008–09 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) was the third since its establishment in 2006. It began on 16 August 2008 and ended on 30 May 2009. Partizan Belgrade successfully defended their title. Team changes from 2007–08 FK Bežanija were relegated to the Serbian First League after finishing in 12th place. Promoted from the First League were champions FK Javor Ivanjica and runners-up FK Jagodina. FK Smederevo, having finished in 10th place, had to play a two-legged play-off against the fourth-placed team from the First League, FK Rad. Rad won 4–3 on aggregate and thus were promoted to the SuperLiga while Smederevo were also relegated. The Cyprus national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team for Cyprus and like the senior team, is controlled by the Cyprus Football Association.
