Aleksandar Atanasijević
Aleksandar Atanasijević ( sr-cyrl, Александар Атанасијевић; born 4 September 1991) is a Serbian professional volleyball player. He is a member of the Serbia national team, a participant in the Olympic Games London 2012, and a two–time European Champion (2011, 2019). At the professional club level, he plays for PGE Skra Bełchatów. Career Clubs His first professional club was Serbian OK Partizan. His trainer was Slavko Balandžić. In 2011, he moved to Polish Champion, one of the most successful Polish teams of PlusLiga – PGE Skra Bełchatów. In his first season in Poland, he was mainly a substitute player for Mariusz Wlazły. In the second season, he has become a major player on his position repeatedly winning the statuette for best player of the match. CEV Champions League
The CEV Champions League is the top official competition for men's volleyball clubs from the whole of Europe. The competition is organised every year by the European Volleyball Confederation. Formula (2018–19 to present) Qualification A total of 20 teams participate in the main competition, with 18 teams being allocated direct vacancies on the basis of ranking list for European Cup Competitions, and 2 teams from the qualification rounds. League round 20 teams take part in the League round where they are split in to 5 groups. The France national men's volleyball team represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches. It was the reigning European Champion in 2015 and is ranked 2nd (as of 25th July 2022) in the FIVB world ranking. France have been competing in the World League ever since the inaugural edition in 1990 and continuously since 1999. In 2006 they finished second to Brazil but had their share of disappointment in subsequent seasons. In 2009 they narrowly missed making the Final Six, falling at the last hurdle to Slovenia. Associazione Sportiva Volley Lube is a professional volleyball team based in Treia, Italy. Since 1995 the club has been playing in the Serie A of the Italian Volleyball League. It won the Italian Championship seven times, the Italian Cup five times, and the Italian SuperCup three-times.
