Alek Diakun
Alex Diakun (born February 8, 1946) is a Canadian actor. Diakun was born in Rycroft, Alberta. He began his schooling in Chilliwack, British Columbia and finished with a BFA from the University of Alberta. Diakun has been acting for over four decades. He has appeared in over 200 stage plays, and many television guest appearances. Credits include a blue-faced alien (Chief Technical Director Hohne) in the series '' Andromeda'', '' The Outer Limits'', and the feature film '' Valentine''. Rycroft, Alberta
Rycroft is a village in northern Alberta, Canada. It is approximately north of Grande Prairie and east of Spirit River. Dunvegan Provincial Park is located 20 km north of the community. The post office was originally known as Spirit River. The name was changed to Roycroft in 1920 to honour R.H. Roycroft, a prominent local citizen, and was altered to Rycroft in 1933. Demographics In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the Village of Rycroft had a population of 550 living in 243 of its 299 total private dwellings, a change of from its 2016 population of 612. ''Malone'' is a 1987 American action thriller film starring Burt Reynolds in the eponymous role alongside Cliff Robertson, Cynthia Gibb, Lauren Hutton, Scott Wilson, and Kenneth McMillan. It is an adaptation of William P. Wingate's novel ''Shotgun'', written by Christopher Frank and Rudy Wurlitzer, and directed by Harley Cokeliss (credited under his birth name Harley Cokliss). ''Wrongfully Accused'' is a 1998 satirical comedy film written, produced and directed by Pat Proft and starring Leslie Nielsen as a man who has been framed for murder and desperately attempts to expose the true culprits. ''Drive, She Said'' is a 1997 Canadian film by Mina Shum, starring Moira Kelly, Sebastian Spence and Josh Hamilton. Plot summary Nadine (Moira Kelly), a bank teller, is taken hostage by Tass (Josh Hamilton), who has robbed the bank to pay for medical care for his ailing mother.
