Alejandro Sieveking
Alejandro Sieveking Campano (5 September 1934 – 5 March 2020) was a Chilean playwright, theatre director and actor. Career Sieveking was born in the Chilean city of Rengo (in the O'Higgins Region) on 5 September 1934. He performed as an actor on theatrical productions by ''Instituto del Teatro'' (Chile's Theatre Institute), ''Teatro de la Universidad Católica'' (the Catholic University Theatre), ''Teatro del Ángel'' (Angel Theatre Company) and ''Teatro Itinerante'' (Itinerant Theatre). He worked together with Víctor Jara on a number of theatrical and musical projects, including in his album: “La Población” – in which he co-wrote the song “Herminda de la Victoria” with Jara. He was one of the founders of the ''Teatro del Ángel'' (Angel Theatre Company) in Chile and in Costa Rica, where he settled and worked as a political exile. Bélgica Castro Sierra (; 6 March 1921 – 6 March 2020) was a Chilean stage, film, and television actress. During her career she participated in more than 100 plays. She also acted in numerous Chilean films, including ' (1944) by Jorge Délano and '' The Good Life'' (2008) by Andrés Wood. Under the direction of Ricardo Larraín she participated in '' Chile puede'' (2008), where she played a Russian scientist, a role for which she received the Paoa Award of the Viña del Mar International Film Festival for Best National Lead Actress and the APES Award for Best Supporting Actress. Emiliano Torres (born December 5, 1971, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine film director, screenplay writer and producer. In 1991 he graduated from the Fundación Universidad del Cine of Buenos Aires and completed his degree in filmmaking, oriented towards directing. The Winter
''El Invierno'' (English: ''The Winter'') is the dramatic first film of the Argentine director Emiliano Torres, starring Alejandro Sieveking and Cristian Salguero. The worldwide premiere was on September 22, 2016, at the San Sebastián International Film Festival and had its local premiere in Argentina on October 6 of the same year. Pedro Pablo Peirano Olate (born December 25, 1972) is a Chilean director, screenwriter, journalist, cartoonist and television producer. He wrote the film '' No'' (script developed from a theatrical monologue written by Antonio Skármeta), which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Film in January 2013. Sebastián Silva Irarrázabal (born 9 April 1979) is a Chilean director, actor, screenwriter, painter and musician. Early years The second of seven brothers, Sebastián Silva was born in Santiago, Chile on 9 April 1979.
