Aldo Stella (skier)
Aldo Stella (born 29 January 1943) is an Italian ski mountaineer and former cross-country skier. Stella was born in Asiago. He participated at the 1968 Winter Olympics, when he placed sixth together with Giulio de Florian, Franco Nones and Palmiro Serafini in the 4 × 10 kilometres relay event and seventeenth in the 50 kilometres race of cross-country skiing. Together with his brothers Gianfranco and Roberto he won the 1971 Trofeo Mezzalama as well as together with Gianfranco and Palmiro Serafini the 1973 edition. Asiago
Asiago (; Venetian: ''Axiago'', Cimbrian: ''Slege'', German: ''Schlägen'' ) is a minor township (population roughly 6,500) in the surrounding plateau region (the ''Altopiano di Asiago'' or '' Altopiano dei Sette Comuni'', Asiago plateau) in the Province of Vicenza in the Veneto region of Northeastern Italy. It is near the border between the Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol regions in the foothills of the Alps, approximately equidistant (60 km) from Trento to the west and Vicenza to the south. The Asiago region is the origin of Asiago cheese. The town was the site of a major battle between Austrian and Italian forces on the Alpine Front of World War I. Roberto Stella (22 July 1952 – 11 March 2020) was an Italian physician who worked as a general practitioner in Busto Arsizio. He held numerous positions in national medical associations, including serving as president of the Italian Scientific Society for Continuing Medical Education of General Practitioners and the . Early life and education Roberto Stella was born in Busto Arsizio on 22 July 1952. Stella earned a doctor of medicine and surgery from University of Milan in 1978.
