Albirex Niigata Phnom Penh was a professional football club based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia which competed in the Cambodian League, the top division of Cambodian football. The club was a satellite team of Albirex Niigata of J League, Japan. Albirex Niigata Phnom Penh aims to contribute to international society and to export Japanese sports business. The team will be made up of primarily Cambodian players and Japanese players subject to the foreign players restrictions in the league. The club will also offer Japanese quality coaching style in training sessions and games which will see the club helping to raise the level of Cambodian football. Albirex Niigata Phnom Penh will also hope to raise the value of sports in Cambodia by operating a football club in Japanese style and contributing Cambodian society. The National Olympic Stadium ( km, ពហុកីឡាដ្ឋានជាតិអូឡាំពិក) is a multi-purpose stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It has a capacity of 70,000.
