Alberto Mayol
Alberto Mayol Miranda (born 8 July 1976) is a Chilean sociologist, political analyst, and politician. An academic, researcher, and author of several works on social sciences, politics, and culture, he was a candidate in the Broad Front 2017 presidential primary. An opinion poll, conducted by ''La Segunda'' in 2017, ranked Mayol in fifth place among the most admired public intellectuals nationwide. Family and studies The son of , a well-known journalist during the period of the military dictatorship, and Mariana Miranda, Alberto Mayol studied sociology at the University of Chile's Faculty of Social Sciences, where he graduated in 1998. Then he worked toward a master's in political science at his alma mater, which he completed in 2000, and, in parallel, a degree in aesthetics at the Catholic University, which he received in 2001. Kenneth Giorgio Jackson Drago (born 6 February 1987) is a Chilean politician and engineer who has been serving as Chile's Minister of Social Development since 6 September 2022. He previously served as Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency between March and September 2022. He is founder and first congressman of the political party Democratic Revolution, achieving the highest personal vote in the 2017 elections to the lower chamber. Democratic Revolution () is a Chilean centre-left to left-wing political party, founded in 2012 by some of the leaders of the 2011 Chilean student protests, most notably the current Deputy Giorgio Jackson, who is also the most popular public figure of the party. Beatriz de Jesús Sánchez Muñoz (born 24 December 1970) is a Chilean journalist and politician. During the 1990s and 2000s, she worked as a political and current affairs journalist for radio stations in Chile, where she achieved high recognition for her activity. Equality Party (Chile)
The Equality Party ( es, Partido Igualdad) was a left-wing political party in Chile. It was founded in 2009 by various social movements of workers, students, mortgage borrowers, townspeople and human rights organizations, among other actors. Its first president was former communist councilor of Peñalolen, Lautaro Guanca. Legally registered in 2012, it first appeared in the municipal elections of that year.
