Kategoria Superiore
The Kategoria Superiore, officially known as Abissnet Superiore for sponsorship reasons, is a professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Albanian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. It is contested by 10 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Kategoria e Parë. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 36 matches each (playing each team in the league four times, twice at home and twice away). The competition was founded in 1930 as the Albanian National Championship during the reign of King Zog, shortly after the creation of the Albanian Football Association. Ilion Lika
Ilion Lika (born 17 May 1980) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper and also is goalkeeping coach of Albanian club Tirana in the Albanian Superliga. During his 19-year career span, Lika has played more than 500 matches on club level. He began his professional career in 1999 with Dinamo Tirana, recording more than 200 appearances in all competitions before leaving for Elbasani in 2007. Lika moved for the first time aboard in January 2008 by joining Terek Grozny of Russian Premier League. He returned in Albania in January 2010, representing in quick succession Vllaznia Shkodër and Kastrioti Krujë before joining Tirana in the summer of that year where he went on to play for the next three years. Rrahman Hallaçi (born 12 November 1983) is an Albanian professional football coach and former player who is the current assistant manager of Kukësi. Club career Partizani Tirana Hallaçi started his professional career with Partizani Tirana in 2002. He won his first career silverware on 19 May 2004, the Albanian Cup, after the team won 0–2 against Tirana to clinch the cup for a record 15th time. His second trophy came later that year, where Partizani won again against Tirana to win the Albanian Supercup. Sabien Lilaj (born 10 February 1989) is an Albanian professional footballer who most recently played as a central midfielder for Albanian Superliga club Dinamo Tirana and the Albania national team. Orges Shehi (born 25 September 1977) is an Albanian professional former football player and current coach of Tirana. In July 2010, he joined Skënderbeu and won 6 consecutive league titles (2010–11, 2011–12, 2012–13, 2013–14, 2014–15, 2015–16). Igli Allmuça (born 25 October 1980) is an Albanian professional football coach and former player who was the manager of Albanian First Division club Dinamo Tirana. Allmuça played as a midfielder and spent the majority of his career with Partizani Tirana and Dinamo Tirana, being successful in both clubs.
