Alan Goehring
Alan Goehring (born February 21, 1962) is an American retired junk bond analyst and trader from Henderson, Nevada. At the age of 37, he became a professional poker player. Goehring first made his mark on the poker circuit when he finished in 3rd place in the $3,000 No Limit Hold-Em event at the 1997 World Series of Poker (WSOP). He won $61,845 in the tournament, which was won by Max Stern and also featured Kathy Liebert, Chris Ferguson, Donnacha O'Dea, and Dan Harrington. In 1999, Goehring finished 2nd in the WSOP $10,000 No Limit Hold-Em Main Event to Noel Furlong. He won $768,625 for his efforts. This finish, coupled with several other 2nd-place finishes, including in Bellagio's Inaugural No Limit Hold-Em tournament, earned him a reputation as a player who "could not win the big one." Phillip Dennis Ivey Jr. (born February 1, 1977) is an American professional poker player who has won ten World Series of Poker bracelets, one World Poker Tour title, and appeared at nine World Poker Tour final tables. Ivey is regarded by numerous poker observers and contemporaries as the best all-around player in the world. In 2017, he was elected to the Poker Hall of Fame. 2020 World Series Of Poker Online
The 2020 World Series of Poker Online was a series of online poker tournaments organized by the World Series of Poker (WSOP). It was held from July 1-September 8 and featured 85 bracelet events, 31 on WSOP.com and 54 on GGPoker. In June, the WSOP announced the series as a result of postponing the 2020 WSOP in Las Vegas, Nevada due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Events included the $50 Big 50, the lowest buy-in WSOP event in history, as well as four People's Choice tournaments that allowed players to vote on which game to play. The series culminated in the $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event beginning on August 16 with a $25 million guaranteed prize pool, the largest in online poker history. Howard Lederer
Howard Henry Lederer (born October 30, 1964) is an American professional poker player. He has won two World Series of Poker bracelets and holds two World Poker Tour titles. Lederer has also contributed to several books on poker strategy and has provided commentary for poker programming. He is known by poker fans and players as "The Professor" and is the older brother of professional poker player Annie Duke. Lederer is a founder and board member of Tiltware, the company that launched Full Tilt Poker in 2004. Roland De Wolfe is an English professional poker player and a former writer for the poker magazine ''Inside Edge''. Ted Forrest (born September 24, 1964) is an American professional poker player, currently residing in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tournament wins Forrest won three bracelets at the 1993 World Series of Poker (WSOP). After the mid-1990s, Forrest turned his attention full-time to cash games. He made a triumphant return to the WSOP by winning 2 bracelets at the 2004 World Series of Poker.
