Alain Lanty
Alain Lanty (born 28 November 1961 in Auray, France) is a French singer, composer and pianist. He has composed songs for a great number of French artists including Renaud, Florent Pagny, Marc Lavoine, Dani (singer), Dani, Régine Zylberberg, Régine, Maurane, Hélène Ségara, Jean-Luc Lahaye. Alain Lanty is also a renowned pianist and has played the piano on a number of albums, for Pascal Obispo, Calogero (singer), Calogero, Johnny Hallyday, Raphaël Haroche, Raphaël, Isabelle Boulay, Emmanuel Moire, La Grande Sophie, Grand Corps Malade and many others. He accompanied Renaud in the latter's tour "Une guitare, un piano et Renaud". He composed music for the songs "Coeur perdu", "Baltique", "Mon nain de jardin" and "Mal barrés" for the Renaud album Boucan d'enfer. In 2009, he was a judge in the first ever series of the singing competition show ''X Factor (France), X Factor'' in France. Auray
Auray (; br, An Alre, or simply ) is a commune in the Morbihan department, administrative region of Brittany, northwestern France. Inhabitants of Auray are called ''Alréens'' (French) and ''Alreiz'' (Breton). Geography The city is surrounded by the communes of Crac'h to the south and the west, Brech to the north and Pluneret to the east. It is crossed by the Loch, a small coastal river, which flows into the Gulf of Morbihan. The town is high on the west bank of the river Auray on the edge of the Armorican plateau which is cut deeply by the river. The port of Saint-Goustan is also in the valley, east of the river.
