Aladağlar National Park
The Aladağlar National Park ( tr, Aladağlar Milli Parkı), established on April 21, 1995, is in southern Turkey. Its name, meaning Crimson Mountains, is said to have been given to it because of the rusty colour the mountains acquire towards sunset. A part of the Anti-Taurus Mountains, the national parks covers at an average elevation of above sea levelspreading over parts of the districts of Yahyalı in Kayseri province, Çamardı in Niğde province and Aladağ in Adana province Adana Province ( tr, ) is a province of Turkey located in central Cilicia. Yahyalı
Yahyalı is a town and the southernmost district of Kayseri province in Turkey. The Aladağlar Mountains, a part of the rocky Taurus Mountains, pass through this region as does the River Zamantı. Mostly covered in forest, the Aladağlar National Park covers and extends into the neighbouring districts of Çamardı (Niğde Province) and Aladağ (Adana Province), although the main part is in Yahyalı. The nearest airport is Kayseri International Airport. History The district was established by Turkish forces led by Seyyid Ali and Yahya Ali (Yahya Gazi who came into Anatolia in the 13th century. The tomb of Seyyid Ali is in the garden of Yahyalı State Hospital while that of Yahya Gazi is in the courtyard of the Yahyalı Grand Mosque ( Turkish: Ulu Cami). Çamardı District
Çamardı is a quiet town and district of Niğde Province in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey, at the foot of Aladağ in the Taurus Mountains and reached by winding mountain roads. Population is 15,245 of which 3,396 live in the town of Çamardı. Çamardı is well known with its being very green in the summer.
