Al Lohman
Al Lohman (January 15, 1933, Sergeant Bluff, Iowa – October 14, 2002, Rancho Mirage, California) was a personality and comedian with a long career in American radio from the 1950s through the 1980s and into the 1990s. Among his early career stops was a stint as morning man at New York City top-40 station WABC (AM) when it first adopted a pop music format in 1960. But he's best remembered as a Los Angeles, California radio personality who, along with Roger Barkley, had the top-rated morning drive ''The Lohman and Barkley Show'' on KFI Los Angeles through most of the 1970s and early 1980s. Their fame extended beyond the Los Angeles area, as the duo were frequent guests on ''The Ed Sullivan Show'' and were hosts of two short-lived game shows. Sergeant Bluff is a city in Woodbury County, Iowa, Woodbury County, Iowa, United States. "Hotel California" is the title track from the Eagles' album of the same name and was released as a single in February 1977. Writing credits for the song are shared by Don Felder (music), Don Henley, and Glenn Frey (lyrics). Joe Walsh came up with the dual-guitar descending arpeggio part that ends the song: he did not, however, get writing credits. The Eagles' original recording of the song features Henley singing the lead vocals, and concludes with an electric guitar solo performed by both Walsh and Felder, in which they both take turns of playing lead before harmonising and playing the aforementioned arpeggio towards the fade out at the end. Gary Owens
Gary Owens (born Gary Bernard Altman; May 10, 1934 – February 12, 2015) was an American radio announcer, personality, disc jockey and voice actor. His polished baritone speaking voice generally offered deadpan recitations of total nonsense, which he frequently demonstrated as the announcer on ''Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In''. Owens was equally proficient in straight or silly assignments and was frequently heard on television and radio as well as in commercials. He was best known, aside from being the announcer on ''Laugh-In'', for providing the voices of the titular superhero on ''Space Ghost'' and of Blue Falcon in ''Dynomutt, Dog Wonder''. He also played himself in a cameo appearance on ''Space Ghost Coast to Coast'' in 1998. Owens' first cartoon-voice acting was performing the voice of Roger Ramjet on the ''Roger Ramjet'' cartoons. Robert "Bob" Arthur (June 21, 1921 – March 25, 1997) was a radio personality, a television newscaster and a motion picture actor. He is best remembered for partnering with Ken Minyard on the "Ken and Bob Company" morning radio program on KABC-AM (790) Los Angeles, California from 1973–1990. The pair coined the popular term "EGBOK" meaning “everything’s gonna be OK.” As actor, Arthur had roles in The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!
