Al Ghubaiba ( ar, الغبيبة, ) is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE. The station opened as part of the Green Line on 9 September 2011. Location The station is located in Al Shindagha, Bur Dubai, traditionally the historic centre of Dubai. It is near the junction of 51 Road & Al Ghubaiba Road, with a number of entrances/exits. It is close to Al Ghubaiba Bus Station (which has intercity services including to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah) and City Centre Al Shindagha, as well as Dubai Creek. It is also close to several bus services. Creek (aka Dubai Creek, ar, الخور) is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE. It serves as the western terminus of the line. The station officially opened on 1 March 2014. The Green Line was initially designed to terminate at Dubai Healthcare City, but an extension was added to Dubai Creek via Al Jadaf metro station. According to ''Gulf News'' in 2014, the plan to further extend the Green Line to Academic City is fully approved, in order to better serve the interests of residents in the Silicon Oasis and International City area. Etisalat by e& ( ar, اتصالات من e&) is a rapid transit station on the Green Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE. Trial running began in October 2010, with the station inaugurated on 9 September 2011 and opened to the public the next day, 10 September 2011. On February 5, 2023, this station was renamed to "Etisalat by e&". The station is located on Al Nahda Street, between Al Qusais and Al Twar, and north of Dubai International Airport. Dubai Creek ( ar, خور دبي, Khūr Dubay) has been described as a natural saltwater creek, tidal inlet, and watercourse or waterway in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It extends about inwards and forms a natural port that has traditionally been used for trade and transport. The creek ranges from in width while the average depth is about . Previously, it extended to Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary but as part of the new Business Bay Canal and Dubai Canal, it extends a further to the Persian Gulf.
