Marius Baciu
Marius Achim Baciu (born 1 May 1975) is a Romanian former player and current football head coach of Saudi Arabian club Al-Nahda. Club career Baciu started his career playing as a youth for Gaz Metan Mediaș, before joining the squad of FC Inter Sibiu as a professional player in 1992. One year later he was loaned to his former team Gaz Metan Mediaș, rejoining FC Inter Sibiu in 1994. In 1996, FC Inter Sibiu was relegated from Liga I, but Baciu, then 21, was signed by Steaua București winning the championship in 1997 and 1998 and the Cupa României in 1999. The Saudi Second Division , also known as the Second Division League (SDL), is a football league that is the third tier of the Saudi Arabian football league system. The league consists of 32 teams divided into two groups and was founded in 1996. Promotion and relegation The top 3 teams are promoted to the First Division League. The first two teams of each group will advance directly to the First Division League, and the second two teams of each group will compete in two round-trip matches, and the winning team will advance to the First Division League as the third team. The bottom two clubs of each group are relegated to the Third Division League.
