Al-Garah
Al-Garah ( ar, قَرْيَة ٱلْقَارَة, Qaryat Al-Qārah) is a village in Al-Ahsa Governorate, Al-Ahsa, in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It known for its Al-Qarah Mountain (Saudi Arabia), small mountain, and is one of Al-Ahsa Oasis' eastern villages and is located about northeast of the center of Al-Hofuf, southwest of Dammam, and east of Riyadh. Jabal Al-Qarah ''Jabal Al-Qarah'' is a mesa that stands about high, with a maximum elevation of above sea level. It has many caves with very cool air inside. Unlike many caves, these were formed by subaerial weathering rather than dissolution, and as a result have a highly distinctive shape. The mountain attracts many people especially from nearby villages, and has been targeted for additional touristic development. The Eastern Province ( ar, المنطقة الشرقية '), also known as the Eastern Region, is the easternmost of the 13 provinces of Saudi Arabia. Al-Qarah Mountain (Saudi Arabia)
Al-Qarah mountain "Jabal Al-Qarah" also known as "Al-shaba'an mountain" located between At-Tuwaitheer village and Al-Qarah village in Al-ahsa at the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This mountain counts as one of the most important natural sights in Al-Ahsa and is registered in the UNESCO world heritage centre's list in 2018, after the inclusion of Al-Ahsa oasis. It's positioned 15 kilometers away of Al-hofuf east. The mountain has caves, and some of them, such as "Al-Nashab cave", have a moderate steady temperature throughout the year. Naming Al-Qarah mountain is named after Al-Qarah village which it belongs to. It's also sometimes called "Al-Shaba'an" because it's situated among palm trees and rivers, and it has wild high caves which is cold in the summer. Al-Ahsa Oasis
''Al-Aḥsāʾ'' ( ar, الْأَحْسَاء, ''al-ʾAhsā''), also known as al-Ḥasāʾ () or Hajar (), is a traditional oasis historical region in eastern Saudi Arabia whose name is used by the Al-Ahsa Governorate, which makes up much of that country's Eastern Province. The oasis is located about inland from the coast of the Persian Gulf. Al-Ahsa Oasis composed four main cities and 22 villages. Al-Hofuf
Al-Hofuf ( ar, ٱلْهُفُوف ', also spelled Hofuf or Hufuf, also known as "Al-Hasa", "Al-Ahsa" or "Al-Hassa") is the major urban city in the Al-Ahsa Oasis in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, with a population of 858,395 (as of 2021). It is also known for being one of the largest date producers in the world, and for its old souks and palaces. Mesa
A mesa is an isolated, flat-topped elevation, ridge or hill, which is bounded from all sides by steep escarpments and stands distinctly above a surrounding plain.
