Akshaye Khanna
Akshaye Khanna (born 28 March 1975) is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films. He is the son of actor Vinod Khanna. He has won numerous awards in his career including two Filmfare Awards, three Screen Awards and two IIFA Awards in varied acting categories. After studying in Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai, he made his acting debut in 1997 with the film ''Himalay Putra''. His next release, J. P. Dutta's war drama ''Border'' (1997) emerged as a critical and commercial success, earning him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor nomination. The Filmfare Best Villain Award was given by ''Filmfare'' as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi films, to recognise an actor who had delivered an outstanding performance in a negative role. Although the awards started in 1954, this category was first introduced in 1992 and has not been awarded since 2007.
