''Ako priđeš bliže'' is the second studio album by Zdravko Čolić, released in 1977. The album remains Čolić's most critically acclaimed album. It polled at the 38th on the list of 100 greatest Yugoslav rock and pop albums in the book '' YU 100: najbolji albumi jugoslovenske rok i pop muzike'' (''YU 100: The Best Albums of Yugoslav Pop and Rock Music''). Slobodan Kovačević
Slobodan "Bodo" Kovačević (29 December 1946 – 22 March 2004) was one of the greatest rock guitarists in former Yugoslavia, with unprecedented virtuosity even to these days. He began his musical career in early sixties with the Sarajevo band "Wanderers" and few years later in the mid sixties joined Indexi, where Davorin Popović was already a singer. Biography His birth certificate is registered as Slobodan A. Kovačević, with the middle initial representing the name of his father Adem. During his musical career, he became widely known by his nickname "Bodo". He graduated with a degree in architecture from the University of Sarajevo, but his love for music won him over. La Isla Bonita
"La Isla Bonita" is a song by American singer Madonna from her third studio album '' True Blue'' (1986). Written and produced by Madonna and Patrick Leonard, with additional lyrics by Bruce Gaitsch, the song was originally presented by Leonard as an instrumental demo to Michael Jackson, who turned it down; Leonard then played it to Madonna, who liked it and wrote the lyrics and melodies. Duško Trifunović
Duško Trifunović ( sr, Душко Трифуновић, 13 September 1933 – 28 January 2006) was a Yugoslav writer, poet and television author. Life Born in the small village of Sijekovac near Bosanski Brod (then part of the Vrbas Banovina, Kingdom of Yugoslavia), to father Vaso and illiterate mother Petra. His father died from tuberculosis in 1945. Trifunović did not have much formal schooling since he started working in a factory during his early teens. Working as a locksmith affixing train wagon doors, he eventually moved to Sarajevo in 1957 at the age of 24 to continue the same line of work. Parallel to his factory work, he also secretly wrote poetry and once in Sarajevo finally got a chance to pursue it in earnest. Borisav "Bora" Đorđević ( sr-cyr, Борисав, Бора Ђорђевић; born 1 November 1952), also known as Bora Čorba ( sr-cyr, Бора Чорба), is a Serbian singer, songwriter, and poet. Branko Radičević
Aleksije "Branko" Radičević ( sr-Cyrl, Алексије Бранко Радичевић, ; 28 March 1824 – 1 July 1853) was a Serbian poet who wrote in the period of Romanticism. Biography Branko Radičević was born in Slavonski Brod on 15 March 1824. Aleksije was his baptismal name before he changed it to Branko, a more common Serbian name. He finished high school in Sremski Karlovci, the setting of his best poems. He then studied in Vienna. In 1847 Radičević's first book of poetry appeared, launching a new era in Serbian poetry. Kemal Monteno (17 September 1948 – 21 January 2015) was a Bosnian recording artist and singer-songwriter whose career stretched from the 1960s to the 2010s. Early life Monteno's father Osvaldo was an Italian from Monfalcone. During World War II, he was drafted and deployed to occupied Yugoslavia in 1945 where he met a Bosniak woman named Bahrija in Sarajevo and fell in love. Osvaldo left his pregnant wife in Italy to marry Bahrija. Osvaldo's Italian wife gave birth in 1946 to a daughter named Daniela, Monteno's half-sister. Kemal was born to Osvaldo and Bahrija two years later in Sarajevo. Although his father was Catholic and his mother was a Muslim, Monteno was given a Muslim first name.
