He finished in 5th place at the 2008 Summer Olympics, losing in the quarter-finals to eventual champion Cha Dong-min, and then to Chika Chukwumerije in the repechage. Early life and career Akmal Khan's birth name was Mohammad Asif Khan and he was born in 1929 at Lahore, British India. Akmal Khan (his professional name) first became a film make-up artist and then he was introduced as an actor by the Pakistani film producer-director Anwar Kamal Pasha in his film ''Qatil'' (1955). Akmal Kholmatov (born 4 April 1976) is a former Tajikistani footballer. Career Club Kholmatov played for Regar-TadAZ between 1993 and 1996. During 1996 Kholmatov moved to Uzbekistan, signing for Neftchi Fargʻona, and becoming an Uzbek citizen in 2001. After 12 years at Neftchi Fargʻona, Kholmatov moved to fellow Uzbek club Pakhtakor Tashkent for three seasons, before joining Iranian side PAS Hamedan in 2011. Akmal Shaikh (5 April 1956 – 29 December 2009) was a Pakistani-British busninesspeople who was convicted and executed in China for illegally trafficking approximately 4 kg of heroin. The trial and execution attracted significant media attention in the UK. Shaikh was born in Pakistan and moved to the United Kingdom as a child. After a couple of failed businesses, Shaikh moved to Poland with his second wife in 2005 with the dream of starting an airline, and later of becoming a pop star.
