Akhil Bharatiya Loktantrik Congress
Akhil Bharatiya Loktantrik Congress was a regional political party in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was founded in October 1997 by Naresh Agarwal along with Jagdambika Pal, Atul Kumar Singh, Bacha Pathak, Rajeev Shukla, Hari Shankar Tiwari, Suresh Chand Bhardwaj, Shripati Singh and Shyam Sunder Sharma. The party was formed when these leaders broke away from the Indian National Congress to join the All India Indira Congress (Tiwari), led by N. D. Tiwari which led another switched to form Loktantrik Congress. Jagdambika Pal served as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for 3 days from 21 February 1998 to 23 February 1998 when Governor of Uttar Pradesh Romesh Bhandari dismissed Kalyan Singh government. Kalyan Singh moved Allahabad High Court which termed the dismissal of government unconstitutional on 23 February 1998, thereby reinstating the Kalyan Singh government. Rajnath Singh
Rajnath Singh (; born 10 July 1951) is an Indian politician serving as the Defence Minister of India. He is currently the Deputy Leader of the House Lok Sabha. He is the former President of Bharatiya Janata Party. He has previously served as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and as a Cabinet Minister in the Vajpayee Government. Ram Prakash Gupta
Ram Prakash Gupta (26 October 1923 – 1 May 2004) was Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Governor of Madhya Pradesh. He was a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, as well as its predecessor party, the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. A post-graduate in science from Allahabad University, he was a member of the erstwhile Bharatiya Jana Sangh. He represented the Bharatiya Jana Sangh in the Vidhan Parishad and was chosen to be Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh when Charan Singh formed the first non-Congress government in 1967 which was also known as Samyukta Vidhayak Dal government. He was later the state's Minister of Industries in the Janata Party government led by Ram Naresh Yadav in 1977. Allahabad High Court
Allahabad High Court, also known as High Court of Judicature at Allahabad is the high court based in Prayagraj that has jurisdiction over the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was established on 17 March 1866, making it one of the oldest high courts to be established in India. History Prayagraj became the seat of Government of North-Western Provinces and a High Court was established in 1834 but was shifted to Agra within a year. In 1875 it shifted back to Prayagraj. The former High Court was located at the Accountant General's office at the University of Allahabad complex. Kalyan Singh
Kalyan Singh (5 January 1932 – 21 August 2021) was an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He served twice as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and as a Member of Parliament. He was the Chief minister of Uttar Pradesh during the demolition of the Babri Masjid in December 1992. He was considered an icon of Hindu nationalism, and of the agitation to build a Ram temple in Ayodhya. Singh became a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh while still in school. He entered the Uttar Pradesh legislature as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for Atrauli in 1967. He won nine more elections to that constituency as a member of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the BJP, the Janata Party and the Rashtriya Kranti Party. Romesh Bhandari (29 March 1928 – 7 September 2013) was an Indian Foreign Secretary, former Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and former governor of Tripura, Goa and Uttar Pradesh. Career Bhandari was born in Lahore, present day Pakistan, to Amar Nath Bhandari, a Punjab High Court Judge who was part of bench which decided Gandhi Assassination case. Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh (; , 'Northern Province') is a state in northern India.
