Akai Meiro
is a Japanese television series starring Ken Utsui, Momoe Yamaguchi, Yūsaku Matsuda, and Ryoko Nakano. It was broadcast from 1974 to 1975 on the TBS channel. It was the first of the "Akai" series of television dramas. Plot Criminal psychologist Masato Yuki, played by Ken Utsui, returns from a three-year sojourn in America, to his wife and daughter Akiko, played by Momoe Yamaguchi. Shortly after his return, his wife is murdered under suspicious circumstances. Ken Utsui
(24 October 1931 – 14 March 2014) was a Japanese actor who worked on stage, film, and television from the 1950s to the 2010s. Career and death Born in Tokyo, Utsui entered the Haiyūza theatre troupe in 1952 and was soon selected to star in the film ''Seishun no izumi'' that was produced by Haiyūza. In 1954, he signed a contract with Shintoho and starred in 60 films, including the Super Giant series. He moved to Daiei Film in 1963 and starred in another 52 films. From the mid-1960s, he also began to work on television, starring in many television dramas, especially detective series like ''The Guardman'' and ''Sasurai keiji junjōhen'' and some installments of the ''Akai'' series with Momoe Yamaguchi. , known by her maiden name , is a Japanese former singer, actress, and idol whose career lasted from 1972 to 1980. Often simply referred to by her given name "Momoe," Yamaguchi is one of the most successful singers in Japanese music, releasing 32 singles, including three number one hits, and 21 studio albums. She also starred in 15 feature films and several television serial dramas. At age 21, Yamaguchi retired at the height of her popularity to marry her frequent costar, Tomokazu Miura; she has never performed or made a public appearance since. Yūsaku Matsuda
was a Japanese actor. In Japan, he was best known for roles in action films and a variety of television series in the 1970s as well as a switch to a wider range of roles in the 1980s. His final film appearance was as the villain Sato in Ridley Scott's '' Black Rain''. He died in 1989 at the age of 40. He is considered one of Japan's most important film actors. Several manga, anime and video game characters are based on him, including Kenshiro in ''Fist of the North Star'', Spike Spiegel in '' Cowboy Bebop'', Aokiji in ''One Piece'', and Jubei Yagyu in '' Onimusha 2''. Fausto Cigliano (15 February 1937 – 17 February 2022) was an Italian singer, guitarist, and actor. Life and career Born in Naples into a humble family, Cigliano approached the music at young age, after having received a guitar as a gift, and he made his record debut in 1953. Cigliano became first known thanks to his participation to the Napoli Music Festival, that he later won in 1959, in couple with Teddy Reno with the song "Sarrà... chi sà". In 1957 he ranked first at the Italian hit parade with the single "Che m'ha 'mparato a fa'". Between 1959 and 1964 he was entered into the main competition at the Sanremo Music Festival five times. In the second half of the 1950s he also appeared in several comedy films. In 1976, Cigliano graduated in guitar at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome.
