Ajitsinhji Ground is cricket ground in Jamnagar, Saurashtra.The ground was established in 1933. It hosted its first match in 1933 when Marylebone Cricket Club toured India and Ceylon in 1933/34. The match was played between Jamnagar cricket team and Marylebone Cricket Club which was drawn. In the match international player like England captain Douglas Jardine, Cyril Walters and Indian fast-bowler Amar Singh were included. It took four year for hosting its first-class and first Ranji Trophy match which was played between Western India cricket team and Maharashtra cricket team which was won by Western India by 78 runs. The Deodhar Trophy, also known as Mastercard Devdhar trophy due to sponsorship reasons (also spelled Devdhar Trophy), is a List A cricket domestic cricket tournament of India. It is named after D. B. The Wills One-Day Trophy (named after sponsor Wills of ITC Limited), commonly referred to as the Wills Trophy, was an Indian List A cricket tournament organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Established in the 1977–78 season, it was played to find the best limited overs side of the domestic season as only the Ranji Trophy had inter-zonal finals. The annual tournament was played between seven sides, the five zonal winners and two composite teams, Wills XI (named after the title sponsor) and Indian Board President XI. Sriranga Wasudev 'Ranga' Sohoni (5 March 1918 – 19 May 1993) was an Indian international cricketer. He was an all-rounder, batting well under pressure and bowling relentlessly on South Asian surfaces. International Cricket Sohoni toured England in 1946 and Australia in 1947/48 with the Indian team.
