Ajah, Lagos
Ajah is a town in Eti-Osa local government area in Lagos State in Nigeria. It encompasses Addo, Langbasa, Badore, Ajiwe, VGC, etc. History Ajah was founded by the Odugbese Abereoje who accommodated Ogunsemo and Ojupon families in the 16th century. The Odugbese Abereoje were the first settler and which major occupation was fishing. They appointed the Baale (Someone that is always around), while they were away in the river fishing to see to the affairs of the community in absentia. The Baale was from Ogunsemo. Ajah land is divided to 42 chiefs and 10 king makers. The 11th Baale of Ajah, Chief Murisiku Alani Oseni Adedunloye Ojupon was installed on 1 October 2009. Ajah is occupied by Ajah and Ilaje people who migrated to Ajah after being displaced from Maroko and Moba. The Ajahs and Ijajes have long been embroiled in intercommunity wars. Eti-Osa
Eti-Osa is a Local Government Area of Lagos State in Nigeria. Lagos State Government administers the council area as Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA, Eti-Osa East, and Iru Victoria Island LCDA. Within Eti-Osa are several important areas of Lagos State, including Lagos' Victoria Island. Before the Nigerian capital moved to Abuja, Eti-Osa Local Government Area served alongside Lagos Island Local Government Area as the seat of the national capital. Ilaje
Ìlàje is a Local Government Area in Ondo State, South-West Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Igbokoda. The Ilajes are a distinct migratory coastal linguistic group of Yoruba peoples spread along the coastal belts of Ondo, Ogun, Lagos and Delta states and originally made up of four geo-political entities, namely: Ode Ugbo, Ode Mahin, Ode Etikan and Aheri. Pan-Atlantic University is a private, non-profit educational institution in Lekki, Lagos State. Timeline The university had its origin as the Lagos Business School (LBS), established in 1991.
