Aisha Association For Women And Child Protection
AISHA Association for Women and Child Protection (AISHA), established in 2009, is an independent Palestinian women organization working to achieve gender integration through economic empowerment and psychosocial support to marginalized groups. The organisation works in the Gaza Strip with focus on Gaza City and the North area. AISHA seeks to protect women and children from violence through raising awareness of relevant psychological, social, legal, and economic issues. AISHA also focuses on advocacy, raising awareness of domestic violence, gender equality, and feminist issues to local community leaders and organisations. Gaza Community Mental Health Programme
The Gaza Community Mental Health Programme (GCMHP) is the leading Palestinian non-governmental organization which provides mental health services to the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip. The organization's stated purpose is committed to aid women, children, and victims of violence, torture, and human rights violations. The organization has over 135 employees, is involved with 18 international, regional and local coalitions and networks, and has treated over 20,000 clients. GCMHP was founded in 1990 by Eyad al-Sarraj. The head office is located in the Sheikh Ejleen neighborhood, across from the Gaza Municipality Beach Club. Palestinian Center For Human Rights
The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR, ar, المركز الفلسطيني لحقوق الإنسان) is a Palestinian human rights organization based in Gaza City. It was founded in 1995 by Raji Sourani, who is its director. It was established by a group of Palestinian lawyers and human rights activists and receives funding from governmental, non-governmental, and religious sources. A woman is an adult female human. Prior to adulthood, a female human is referred to as a girl (a female child or adolescent).
