Air Ways
''Air Ways'' was an Australian factual television series broadcast on the Seven Network, narrated by Corinne Grant and produced by Lyndal Marks, the executive producer in charge of Border Security. It began screening in July 2009 and was filmed in airports including Melbourne, Coolangatta, Rockhampton, Mackay, Adelaide, Launceston, Hobart and Alice Springs. ''Air Ways'' followed the day-to-day operations of budget airline Tigerair Australia. It had a similar premise to the successful UK factual television series ''Airline''. Reception Ratings ''Air Ways'' had a strong debut, attracting an audience of 1.216 million for its first episode. Subsequent episodes have been watched by over 1.3 million viewers a week. Corinne Grant
Corinne Grant (born 12 June 1973) is an Australian lawyer, comedian and television presenter. Career After briefly studying as a nurse in Wodonga, Grant started her career as an actor in Melbourne, obtaining a degree in drama. After graduating, she started doing stand-up comedy to overcome her stage fright. Her first major show was as a support act for Merrick Watts. She performed her first solo stand-up show in the bar of the Victoria Hotel in the early 1990s. From 1995 onwards, she appeared on the community television station Channel 31 as a regular on RMITV's ''Under Melbourne Tonight'' hosted by Stephen Hall. In 1999, Grant became a member of the talk show ''Rove Live'' which aired on Channel Ten. She remained on the show until 2005. She co-hosted the comedy show '' The Glass House'' (which aired on ABC-TV) with Wil Anderson and Dave Hughes from 2001 until it was axed in 2006. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. Knox runs the site, publishing his interviews with Australian media actors, producers, directors and programmers. Knox regularly visits the sets of Australian television series and reviews television programs. Knox also served as television critic for Radio National's breakfast program from 2009 to 2015. ''Airline'' is a British fly on the wall television programme produced by LWT that showcases the daily happenings of passengers, ground workers and flight crew of Britannia Airways (series 1) and later EasyJet (from series 2).
