Air Stord
Air Stord A/S was an airline which operated between 1990 and 1999. Based at Stord Airport, Sørstokken, it operated a fleet of Beechcraft Super King Air and later Dornier 328 aircraft. The airline was established as Nye Partnair A/S in January 1990, with largely the same owners and assets from the newly bankrupt Partnair. It was initially based at Haugesund Airport, Karmøy, but moved to Stord the following year following the purchase by Jon Furdal. The airline initially flew from Stord to Oslo. Flights started out of Skien Airport, Geiteryggen in 1993 and from Farsund Airport, Lista in 1996. The airline went through several owners, with Leif Georg Amundsen buying it in 1995. Sørstokken
Sørstokken is a peninsula on the island of Stord in Stord Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The peninsula is long and about wide. It is connected to the main part of the island by a wide isthmus. Other than a small residential area on the isthmus, Stord Airport, Sørstokken is the only major thing located on the peninsula. Norving A/S was a regional airline that operated in Norway between 1971 and 1993. It had roots back to the establishment of Varangfly in 1959. At its peak, the company had eight bases and 27 aircraft. History Varangfly was founded on 24 July 1959 by Bjarne Zakariassen, Bjørn Rist and Odd Bentzen. In 1971, the company merged with Tromsø-based Nor-Wings, and the following year it bought Bodø-based Nordlandsfly. At that time the airline was renamed Norving. Air Express (26 April 1994 – 2000) was an Irish-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse. He was highly tried as a juvenile in 1996, winning one minor race and being placed in the July Stakes, Solario Stakes and Dewhurst Stakes. In the spring of 1997 he embarked on a successful international campaign winning the Premio Parioli in Italy and the Mehl-Mülhens-Rennen in Germany. Teddy Air AS was a regional airline, based at Skien Airport, Geiteryggen, in Norway. Operating between 1989 and 2004, the company operated Britten-Norman Islander, Embraer 110 and Saab 340 aircraft. Coast Air AS was a regional airline based at Haugesund Airport, Karmøy in Norway. It was Norway's fourth largest airline and operated domestic services within Norway, in addition to international services.
