Air Ghana
Air Ghana is a cargo airline of Ghana with its head office at Ghana Airport Cargo Center (GACC) in Accra, Ghana, and its main hub at Kotoka International Airport in Accra. History Air Ghana was founded in 1993 as an air logistics company. It grew to provide ground handling, cargo handling, GSSA and aviation support services over the next two decades. In 2014, Air Ghana received its Air Operator Certificate from Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and commenced operations with a Boeing 737-400 freighter on behalf of DHL. In 2016, Air Ghana opened the Ghana Airport Cargo Center, a 10,000 sq.m dedicated cargo warehouse facility supplemented by 9,000 sq.m of office space, in partnership with Ghana Airports Company Limited and Swissport. Kotoka International Airport
Kotoka International Airport is an international airport in Accra, the capital of Ghana. The airport is operated by Ghana Airports Company Limited, Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), which has its offices on the airport property. It is the sole international airport in Ghana. In 2019, the airport served a record 3 million passengers, although this reduced to 2.1 million in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It presently serves as a hub for domestic and regional operator Africa World Airlines, and a base for domestic operator Passion Air. The airport consists of two passenger terminals, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Terminal 2 serves only domestic flights, while Terminal 3 serves regional, international and long-haul operators. The Boeing 737 Classic is a series of narrow-body airliners produced by Boeing Commercial Airplanes, the second generation of the Boeing 737 series of aircraft. Development began in 1979 and the first variant, the 737-300, first flew in February 1984 and entered service that December.
