Aimal Faizi
Aimal Faizi (Persian: fa, ایمل فیضی) is an Afghan journalist and columnist, who served as the spokesperson of Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai from 2011 to 2014. He was also the director of communications to the government. Biography Faizi was born in Kandahar Province. He studied French at the Afghan-Franco school in Kabul, but fled the civil war in 1994. He went on to study journalism at the Bordeaux Montaigne University in France. Back in Afghanistan he worked at the state-run news agency Bakhtar and Radio Television Afghanistan (RTA), before being appointed as the president's spokesman after the resignation of Wahid Omar. He held his post until the end of Karzai's government in September 2014, succeeded by Sayed Zafar Hashemi. Faizi continues to be Karzai's aide ever since. Hamid Karzai
Hamid Karzai (; Pashto/ fa, حامد کرزی, , ; born 24 December 1957) is an Afghan statesman who served as the fourth president of Afghanistan from July 2002 to September 2014, including as the first elected president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan from December 2004 to September 2014. He previously served as Chairman of the Afghan Interim Administration from December 2001 to July 2002. He is the chief (''khān'') of the Popalzai Durrani tribe of Pashtuns in Kandahar Province. Waheed Omar (Dari:وحید عمر) (born March 1978) is a politics of Afghanistan, politician in Afghanistan currently serving as President Ghani's Senior Advisor and Director General of Office of Public and Strategic Affairs. From 2016 to 2019 he served as Ambassador of Afghanistan to Italy. He was also Afghanistan's Permanent Representative to World Food Programme, International Fund for Agricultural Development, FAO and IDLO. Zafar Hashemi ( fa, ظفر هاشمی; born February 17, 1985) is Afghan-American who serves as special advisor on Afghanistan for the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR). Previously, he worked as the political counselor at the embassy of Afghanistan in Washington, D.C.
