Ailton Dos Santos Silva
Ailton dos Santos Silva (born 31 October 1966) is a Brazilian football manager. Managerial career Born in São Paulo, Silva began his managerial career at São Paulo Futebol Center, a São Paulo youth system based in Osasco, in 1996. In 2005, he joined Palmeiras, also taking care of the club's youth setup. Silva left ''Verdão'' in 2007, and moved to Spanish Tercera División side CF Atlético Ciudad, being appointed as a sports director. He returned to his homeland in the following year, being named Santo André's assistant manager. After being in the staff of São Bento, Desportivo Brasil and Portuguesa, Silva was appointed River Plate-SE manager on 1 February 2011. He led the latter to their second Campeonato Sergipano title of its history, and also managed the side in both Série D and Copa do Brasil. The 2019 Thai League 1 is the 23rd season of the Thai League 1, the top Thai professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1996, also known as Toyota Thai League due to the sponsorship deal with Toyota Motor Thailand. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D (English: Brazilian Championship Serie D) is the fourth division of the Brazilian football league system, and was announced by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) on April 9, 2008. The Campeonato Sergipano is the state football league of Sergipe, Brazil. Format During the 2022 season, The tournament is divided in three stages. In the 1st round, 10 clubs were split in 2 groups of 5 teams in each. The teams played 2 matches against the clubs on the opposite groups, or basically, Group A vs Group B. The top 2 of each group advanced to the semi-finals (second round). In these semi-finals, the 4 clubs who qualified from the previous round, were distributed in 2 groups of 2 teams in each.
