Ai No Gakko Cuore Monogatari
''Ai no Gakko Cuore Monogatari'' ( ja, 愛の学校クオレ物語, Ai no Gakkō Kuore Monogatari, lit=The Story of Cuore, School of Love) is an anime television series, based on the 1886 novel ''Cuore, Libro per i Ragazzi'' (''Heart (novel), Heart: An Italian Schoolboy's Journal'') by Edmondo de Amicis. It first aired from 3 April to 2 October 1981. The series has been broadcast into some countries, It has been dubbed in French, Italian, Spanish, Catalan, Polish, Arabic, and Persian. Story The story takes place in nineteenth century in Turin, Italy. The events in the anime are based on Enrico Bottini's Journal. The boys in early adolescence, innocent and susceptible, meet a teacher of virtue. He tells them honorable and heart-warming stories with which the boys feel great empathy. Toshiko Fujita
was a Japanese actress, voice actress, singer and narrator. She was affiliated with Aoni Production at the time of her death. Biography Since the age of 8 in 1958, Fujita worked in radio and television as an actress, singer and comedian. In addition, she also sang theme songs for anime such as the 1969 adaptation of ''Dororo''. She also dubbed several English-language films in Japanese, as well as lending her voice to anime, such as '' Ikkyū-san'' (Ikkyu), ''Kiteretsu Daihyakka'' (Kiteretsu ), ''Digimon Adventure'' ( Taichi Yagami), ''Fist of the North Star'' (Mamiya) and '' Cat's Eye'' (Rui Kisugi). She was widely used especially in works produced by Toei Animation and Nippon Animation. In 1984, she received the award for "Best Voice Actor" in the 1st Nihon Anime Taishou. Sadly in her later years, her work was limited due to her poor physical condition and health problems. It was announced on December 28, 2018, that she died of invasive breast cancer at 68.
