Ahmed Dudarov
Ahmed Ruslanovich Dudarov (born 6 July 1992 in Chechnya) is a Russian-born German freestyle wrestler of Chechen heritage. He won one of the bronze medals in the men's 86 kg event at the 2019 European Games held in Minsk, Belarus. Career In 2019, he won the silver medal in the men's freestyle 86 kg event at the Military World Games held in Wuhan, China. In the final, he lost against Artur Naifonov of Russia. In March 2021, he competed at the European Qualification Tournament in Budapest, Hungary hoping to qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He did not qualify at this tournament and he also failed to qualify for the Olympics at the World Olympic Qualification Tournament held in Sofia, Bulgaria. 2021 World Wrestling Championships
The 2021 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held from 2 to 10 October 2021 in Oslo, Norway. The event was subsequent to the 2019 World Championships due to the cancelation of the 2020 edition during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 Individual World Cup was held as replacement for the World Wrestling Championships. Artur Edikovich Naifonov ( rus, Артур Эдикович Найфонов , , ɐrˈtur nɐɪ̯ˈfonəf, os, Найфонты Эдичы фырт Артур; born 10 May 1997) is a Russian freestyle wrestler, of Ossetian heritage, who competes at 86 kilograms. Naifonov is an Olympic Games medalist, World Championship medalist, three-time European Continental champion and a three-time Russian National champion (four-time finalist). Naifonov is a survivor of the 2004 Beslan school siege along with his sister, both receiving shrapnel wounds. His mother was killed in crossfire. The 2021 World Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament was the last wrestling qualification tournament for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. The event was held from 6 to 9 May 2021, in Sofia, Bulgaria. Qualification summary A total of 36 athletes secured a spot in the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Tokyo, Japan.
