Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed Mohamed Aboutrika (born 14 March 2003), is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays for Al-Markhiya as an attacking midfielder. Career Aboutrika started his career at Al-Arabi. is constantly playing with the Al-Arabi U23, with whom he ranked third in the 2019–20 league championship, and scored some goals with the team, On 18 June 2020, he was chosen to join the first team training in Al-Arabi . On 24 July 2020, Aboutrika made his professional debut for Al-Arabi against Al-Gharafa in the Pro League, replacing Aron Gunnarsson . The Qatar Stars League ( ar, دوري نجوم قطر), or the QSL, also called QNB Stars League for sponsorship reasons, is the top level football league in Qatar football league system. Contested by 12 teams, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Qatari Second Division (QSD). Seasons of the QSL usually run from September to April. Al-Markhiya Sports Club ( ar, المرخية) is a Qatari multi-sports club, based in the Al Markhiya district of Doha. Its football department plays in the Qatar Stars League. Mohamed Mohamed Mohamed Aboutrika (Arabic: محمد محمد محمد أبوتريكة (repeated three times); born 7 November 1978) is an Egyptian retired professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder and a forward. He came second in the African Footballer of the Year award in 2008 after Emmanuel Adebayor, and was one of five nominees for the 2006 award, and one of the ten nominated for the 2013 award. Aboutrika won the African Cup of Nations in 2006 with the Egyptian national team. He also scored the winning goal to help Egypt win the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations. He helped his club Al Ahly to win the bronze medal in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2006. Off the pitch, he has been noted for both various humanitarian efforts as well as controversies. This includes Aboutrika being added to a terror list by his native Egypt for alleged ties to the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood.
