Ahmad Ahmadi
Ahmad Ahmadi (; 1885–1944), known as ''Pezeshk Ahmadi'' meaning Physician Ahmadi, was born in Mashhad to Mohammad Ali Ahmadi. He worked as a nurse at Qasr prison in Tehran, where he was ordered to kill political prisoners; he was later executed for these crimes. Crimes While he was employed at Tehran's Qasr prison, he was ordered to kill numerous political prisoners. Many political prisoners died under his notorious air injections. Some of the more famous were Mirza Mohammad Farrokhi Yazdi, Abdolhossein Teymourtash, Sardar As'ad and his brother Khānbābā Khān As'ad, Taghi Arani, and Ayatollah Mirza Mohammad Najafi Khorasani (Ayatollah Aghazadeh). Ahmadreza Ahmadi
Ahmadreza Ahmadi ( fa, احمدرضا احمدی; 20 May 1940 – 11 July 2023) was an Iranian poet and screenwriter. He was one of the prominent figures of the "New Wave poetry movement" in Iran. Ahmadi was born in 1940 in Kerman, Iran. He moved to Tehran in 1948. In Tehran, he attended the "Adab" (Persian: ) school. Then, in 1954, entered Dar ol-Fonoun. According to Ahmadi, writer Abdorrahim Ahmadi (his maternal nephew) and Mohammad Shirvāni (his teacher at Dar ol-Fonoun), were instrumental in the development of his love for literature. Ahmadi's first book of poetry, ''Tarh'' (Persian: , ), was published in 1962. His poetry had its roots in French Surrealism and the American Imagists, especially from poets such as Saint John Perse, Paul Éluard, Louis Aragon, and Ezra Pound. Abdul Latif Ahmadi is an Afghan film director, also known as Engineer Latif Ahmadi. He co-founded Afghanistan’s first private film production company Ariana Films (with Toryalai Shafaq and Juwansher Haidary), and became the president of Afghan Film, the state-run Afghan film company. Masoud Ahmadi Moghaddasi
Judge Masoud Ahmadi Moghaddasi ( fa, مسعود احمدی مقدسی‎; 1963 – August 2, 2005) was an Iranian judge, and deputy to Saeed Mortazavi. He was assassinated by Majid Kavousifar on Tehran's Ahmad Ghasir Avenue while commuting home from work due to his crimes against humanity. Moghaddasi was born in 1963 at the Balakhiaban neighbourhood of Mashhad to a poor family. His family was from Yazd. He had ruled in the case of journalist Akbar Ganji which led to Ganji's imprisonment, and was also involved in the case of Zahra Kazemi. Noushin Ahmadi Khorasani
Noushin Ahmadi is a notable Iranian author, translator, essayist, journalist, women's rights activist and community activist. She is one of the founding members of the One Million Signatures campaign. She was also a founder of Women's Cultural Center. (Markaz-e Farhangi-ye Zanan). The Women's Cultural Center is an "NGO that focuses on women's health, as well as legal issues". Khorasani also wrote several books about the women's movement in Iran. Shiva Ahmadi (born 1975) is an Iranian-born American artist, known for her paintings, videos, and installations. Her work has been exhibited at galleries and museums in North America and the Middle East. Biography Ahmadi was born in Tehran, Iran in 1975. Her upbringing, which is reflected in her art, was marked by the Iranian Revolution and the Iran–Iraq War. She obtained a bachelor of fine art from Azad University in 1998 and right after moved to USA to pursue her graduate studies.
